This notice explains what personal information Rijo collects through rijo.ai, why, and what rights you have. Rijo is a trading name of Galami FZCO, registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, licence number 35133. Galami FZCO is the data controller.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, the services you ticked and your message.
• Emails. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records basic request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.

Natalie, the AI assistant

Natalie answers questions about our services using an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic PBC), reached through our website host's AI service (Netlify, Inc.). What you type is sent to them only to write her reply. We do not store chat transcripts on our servers or use them for marketing: the conversation stays in your browser until you close the tab. Anthropic does not use these messages to train its models, though it may keep them for a short period to detect misuse. If you press "Send this to the team", your messages are copied into the enquiry form and handled like any other enquiry. Please do not share sensitive personal details in the chat. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering visitors' questions.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you want to go ahead, to prepare a quote and contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To keep records of our business conversations and to protect the site from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host and form provider (Netlify, Inc.), our AI provider for Natalie (Anthropic PBC, reached through Netlify) and our email provider. Some of these providers are based outside the UK and the UAE. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and contract purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@rijo.ai and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the UAE, you can contact the UAE Data Office.
